Edit Project/Project Job #/Column Width
It would great to be able to edit the project name just by clicking on the task rather than going through the settings area for projects and going to the editing area.
Also, any chance to add an area where you can enter a job #. I love the simplicity of stacks but it would be nice to enter a job #. Software that automatically generates a job numbers can be useless when all of our job #s go through billing and sometimes are not necessarily "new" jobs; therefore, it would be best to manually enter a job # somewhere.
Last thing, adding the ability to change the column widths when
you are looking at the task list.
For example, some project names are long - it would be nice to read
the project name left to right by extending the column width rather
than have it soft return by 4 or 5 lines because the width is
restricted ( it makes it difficult to read if you are sorting by
project name)
Thanks! Stacks is great!

The project names does seem like something useful. At the same time this isn't a request we've had a lot, and it seems like something that usually wouldn't change that often. I guess it depends how you use project.
Second, we do not envision placing a Job # field into Stacks any time soon, that said, you could include it as part of each tasks details. I know this may not be as useful though because currently there is no way to search Stacks from the main task list.
Last, we do plan on eventually adding a bit more customization for the task view. Flexible column adjustments, showing only columns you would like, etc. That said, we have other priorities (time tracking, search, mobile optimization) that will be taking priority.
Hopefully this answers your questions. Thanks for your insight and feel free to throw out any future ideas or concepts you would like to see.
Cheers,
Bruce
