Ability to include hyperlinks in Task Details

I work primarily on web projects and would find it really useful if I was able to include hyperlinked URLs in Task Details. Working on a Mac, this would have the added perk of letting me link to email messages stored on my local machine in Apple Mail (prefix message://), that I have moved out of my inbox and into my mail archive. I'm a big inbox zero proponent. I assume that other operating systems might also be able to do something similar? One could also use this for linking to assets located on a shared volume (file://), all kinds of handy stuff!

   Hi Abby,

   Sorry for the lack of response on this topic. We have discussed this internally and debated the ease of which it could be accomplished.

   The main issue is that we'd need to incorporate an editor into the task details area, instead of just a textfield. This opens a rather large can of worms in management, formatting, and security.

   While this is something that we are still considering, and may happen at some point, it won't be in the near future.
