On Active Tasks, it would be helpful to have an option to not include Saturday and Sunday in the workload visualization. Or an option to keep Saturday and Sunday but exclude tasks from showing up during those days.

On a more serious note, we find that having the weekends visible on the chart helps to give us an at-glance indication of what the load is for the beginning of the week. Removing the days might add a bit more confusion than the advantage of two more viewable days is worth.

We'll continue to keep an eye on this though and see if more people would like a similar option. Thanks for the feedback.

True. However, our office is strictly 9-5, Monday-Friday so an option to hide weekends from the workload visualization makes sense for our situation.

By the way, have you seen my red stapler?

Could we add an option to hide/show weekends?

I assume on a per user basis it'd be a nice additonal option to have. That said, there is a bit of logic involved before pursuing this.

Depending on what time of the current week it is we have to potentially add 4 more days into the quick chart, and similarly, we have to determine how we show weekend days in the completed view. Do we simply skip over those dates? Jumping from the 13th to the 15th might throw off readability a bit. Further, we have to look at the load of pulling more dates vs. not pulling dates on a per user basis.

While I think this option would be helpful, I'm not sure it's something realistic in the short term.
