Assign task to multiple users

Is there an easy way to duplicate a task for multiple users, or to assign a task to multiple users at once? Very frequently we need to assign one project task to 5-8 people with the same exact task info for each person. I'd rather not have to fill in task details and upload task files for each person individually, as this would be time consuming and also use up our storage space faster.

Another idea... if this is not possible, it would be nice to be able to add project details and files to a project instead of a task.

We're trying to find a nice solution for this as well. On thought we have is for task templates, which will allow you to have set series of tasks that can be distributed and reused. It doesn't solve the whole problem but is a good start.
We'll continue thinking and discussing. Thanks for the feedback.
